About PakMediaTrendz

What this site is

PakMediaTrendz ranks Pakistani entertainment by what audiences actually watch. Instead of jury votes or editorial taste, the charts are built from public YouTube viewing data: drama serials are ranked by their average YouTube views per episode, and songs — Coke Studio, OSTs and singles — by their total YouTube plays.

Alongside the rankings you will find drama profiles with episodes, cast and crew credits, view-history charts, artist pages, a music chart, weekly trending digests on the blog, and a personal watchlist that lives entirely in your own browser.

How the rankings work

View counts come from YouTube API Services — the same public statistics you can see under any YouTube video — and are refreshed daily. For dramas we divide a show’s total views by its number of episodes, so a tight 25-episode serial competes fairly with a 200-episode marathon. For music we rank by total plays. Rankings update automatically as new data arrives; nobody hand-picks the order.

Where a page carries an “Editor’s Take”, that section is clearly marked editorial opinion and has no effect on a title’s rank.

Independence

PakMediaTrendz is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or any television channel, production house, or artist featured on the site. All show titles, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners; videos are watched on YouTube via the owners’ own channels — we never host or re-upload content.
