About Anaa
Anaa unfolds amid the sweeping valleys and old estates of Chitral, where family pride has hardened into inheritance. Daneen (Hania Aamir), a fearless young heiress, loves Areesh (Shehzad Sheikh), but their aristocratic families are bound by blood and divided by a bitter grievance from the past. As elders turn their match into another contest of loyalty and ego, a second romance takes shape between the thoughtful Izza (Naimal Khawar) and the guarded Altamash (Usman Mukhtar). Their quieter, slow-burn connection must survive the same web of misunderstandings and family politics. Sameera Fazal's story uses both couples to ask whether affection can outlast the rules imposed by previous generations. With its grand locations, tangled relationships and a heroine who refuses to make herself smaller for anyone, Anaa offers a glossy family saga with genuine emotional bite. We came for Hania Aamir's combustible confidence, but Naimal Khawar and Usman Mukhtar's restrained chemistry is the real hook. Every Izza and Altamash scene feels charged by what they leave unsaid. Our gripe? The family scheming sometimes circles the same conflict, while that quieter romance deserves more room than the script gives it. Still, the Chitral scenery, poised performances and memorable music make this lavish feud very easy to keep watching.
