About Baba Jani

After losing his parents young, Asfand (Faysal Qureshi) builds his adult life around caring for his three sisters. Gentle, principled and accustomed to carrying everyone else's burdens, he reaches middle age with family duty taking precedence over a home of his own. That balance shifts when Sadia (Savera Nadeem) and her daughter Nimra (Madiha Imam) enter his life. Asfand embraces the chance to become a husband and father, but his new household must compete with old expectations, gossip and the fierce possessiveness of his elder sister Najiba (Saba Hameed). Writer Faiza Iftikhar turns a familiar family setup toward an unusually thoughtful question: how does a good man divide his loyalty without making love feel like abandonment? Baba Jani follows Asfand as he tries to protect every relationship at once, while Nimra searches for security and the women around him test whether generosity can survive suspicion, resentment and emotional pressure.

Faysal Qureshi gives Asfand a rare kind of strength: quiet, forgiving and never bland, while his tender scenes with Madiha Imam make the father-daughter bond glow. We love how Faiza Iftikhar lets a male caretaker carry the emotional weight without turning him into a martyr. Our one gripe? The final stretch slows down, and Najiba gets more room than the story needs. Still, this mature family drama earns its warmth. Baba Jani is gentle television with a backbone.
