About Besharam

Besharam brings together two people whose public identities invite instant judgment. Mashal (Saba Qamar) is a successful model who refuses to apologise for the profession she loves, even as society treats glamour as a moral failing. Haider (Zahid Ahmed) is a blunt, idealistic social activist building a political career around the belief that public life can still serve ordinary people. She moves through fashion shoots and an emotionally demanding home; he navigates family obligations, property tensions and the bruising compromises of politics.

Their worlds look incompatible, but both are fiercely self-made, compassionate beneath the armour and unwilling to let other people define respectability for them. Written by Sarwat Nazeer and directed by Farooq Rind, the serial turns that collision into a character-driven romance with class, ambition and hypocrisy pressing in from every side. Saba Qamar's poise and Zahid Ahmed's intensity give the central pairing exactly the spark this battle of principles needs.
