About Bikhray Moti

Young Aiza (Neelam Muneer) has plans for a brighter future, but a promise to her dying sister sends her life in a painful new direction. Her niece and nephews are left at the mercy of Zulfi, their violent, neglectful father, and Aiza refuses to let them become casualties of his cruelty or of a society too willing to look away. Protecting the children means challenging her own family, confronting domestic abuse and navigating the threats of child labour and child marriage. Around her, performances from Yasir Nawaz, Wahaj Ali, Nausheen Shah, Samina Ahmed and Waseem Abbas give this bruising household drama its many shades of fear, complicity and resistance. Written by Edison Idrees, Bikhray Moti is less interested in easy comfort than in the courage it takes to interrupt a cycle of harm. It is an emotionally demanding watch, but Aiza's resolve gives the story a hopeful pulse without softening the realities faced by its youngest characters.
