About Bilqees Kaur

Thirty years after Balwant Kaur becomes Bilqees Kaur (Bushra Ansari) and builds a life in New York with Iqbal Bhatti (Khalid Ahmed), she still runs her Pakistani household by the traditions she refuses to loosen. Bilqees believes marriage can keep her children tied to the values she crossed an ocean to preserve, so the couple arranges Pakistani spouses for their older son and daughter. Their younger son Sultan (Ahsan Khan), however, has his own idea of belonging. He chooses Soha (Syra Yousuf), a bold, self-assured woman who will not quietly accept her mother-in-law's rules. Her arrival turns one home into a lively battleground over love, loyalty, identity, and who gets to define a Pakistani family abroad. As two formidable women test each other's resolve, Faiza Iftikhar's warm family comedy finds room for generational friction without losing sight of the affection holding everyone together.
