About Bisaat

Bisaat weaves love, sacrifice and conspiracy into one tangled family saga on HUM TV. At its center is a young couple, Afreen (Anmol Baloch) and her husband (Mirza Zain Baig), whose marriage is squeezed from every side by relatives, expectation, and a society that treats a woman's worth as conditional. Hovering over them is a patriarchal obsession with producing a male heir, a fixation that pushes one man to blame and discard the women in his life rather than question himself. Azfar Rehman and Ayesha Omar, reuniting on screen after years apart, round out a web of shifting loyalties and a slow-burning love triangle that keeps testing who these people really are once the pressure mounts. Anchored by writer Ateeq Inayat's script and Fahim Burney's direction, it is a story about the quiet costs of pride, and the people left to pay them.
