About Chaudhry & Sons

In the bustling Chaudhry household, tradition is not a preference but the family constitution. Patriarch Dildaar Ali (Sohail Ahmed) still carries the wound of a daughter who married outside the clan, unaware that her orphaned child Pari (Ayeza Khan) is about to enter his home under a concealed identity. Pari arrives with her formidable grandmother Malka Begum (Irsa Ghazal), and their secret turns an affectionate family reunion into a ticking comic dilemma. Then Bilal, better known as Billu (Imran Ashraf), falls for Pari without knowing how closely her past is tied to his own family. Saima Akram Chaudhry layers their romance with crowded breakfasts, clashing generations and sharp Punjabi humour, while Syed Wajahat Hussain lets the ensemble give every corner of the house its own personality. Warm, noisy and full of mischief, Chaudhry & Sons asks whether love can loosen the grip of pride without breaking the bonds that make a family.

Imran Ashraf's loose-limbed comic rhythm and Sohail Ahmed's formidable warmth give this family circus its pulse, while the ensemble makes every crowded room feel lived in. We especially love how Saima Akram Chaudhry slips questions about age, caste and obedience between the punchlines. Our one gripe? At 36 episodes, the final stretch lingers after the jokes have found their mark, and a few contrived turns strain the lighter tone. Still, this is Ramazan comfort viewing with real bite.
