About Dushman-e-Jaan

Dushman-e-Jaan begins with a workplace collision between Ramsha (Tooba Siddiqui), a fiercely practical woman carrying her middle-class family, and Hatim (Mohib Mirza), a wealthy, mistrustful executive whose pride makes him a nightmare boss. Their hostility starts to soften, but one catastrophic mistake leaves Ramsha's life shattered and Hatim trapped inside the guilt of what he has done. The story then draws Ramsha's warm-hearted younger sister Rubab (Madiha Imam) toward the very man she does not know she should fear. Written by Sarwat Nazir and directed by Amin Iqbal, this 28-episode thriller wraps revenge, class pressure, family duty, and the lives of working women around a tense question of accountability. Mohib Mirza gives Hatim's remorse a bruised volatility, while Tooba Siddiqui makes Ramsha's self-respect feel like the drama's moral compass. It is a dark, emotionally charged family serial built on secrets, damaged trust, and the dangerous hope that regret might still lead to atonement.

Editor’s Take

Matching Mohib Mirza's coiled anger with Tooba Siddiqui's flinty self-possession, Dushman-e-Jaan turns guilt into genuine thriller fuel. We love how Sarwat Nazir's tightly structured script keeps even familiar working-woman and family-pressure motifs moving, while Amin Iqbal lets the tension simmer. Our one gripe? Some stereotypes and dated styling blunt an otherwise sharp production. Still, this is the rare daily serial that feels urgent rather than rushed: dark, emotionally precise, and impossible to dismiss.
