About Faryaad

Mahnoor (Aiza Awan) and Haroon (Adeel Chaudhry) are in love, and for a while that feels like enough. It is not. Their romance never gets to become a marriage, because life rarely runs the way anyone dreams it. Moving through the same houses is Murad (Zahid Ahmed), a man with a good suit, an easy smile and no moral compass whatsoever, who takes what he wants from women and families alike and leaves the bill with somebody else. Anum (Nawal Saeed) is pulled into his orbit too. What starts as a familiar ill-fated love story widens into something harder: money that goes missing, a matter that ends up in court, a disappearance, and a family forced to weigh its pride against its daughter's future. Across 55 episodes on ARY Digital, writer Rehana Aftab keeps circling one question: who actually pays when a man like Murad decides he is owed something?

Zahid Ahmed's Murad is the reason this one lands: no twirling villainy, just a man who smiles while he ruins you, and viewers loved every rotten minute of him. Adeel Chaudhry's Haroon took the other half of that applause, all wounded restraint and expressions doing the talking. Our gripe? At 55 episodes the theft and courtroom detours keep elbowing the central romance offscreen, and the middle sags for it. The finale still drew the show's biggest audience by a wide margin. Stay for Murad.
