About Fatima Feng

Fatima Feng follows Jia Feng (Howra Batool), a Chinese woman raised in Pakistan whose life fractures after her father is killed in a terrorist attack. Grief hardens into distrust of Muslims and Islam, even as Jahangir (Babar Ali), her father's business partner, takes her under his wing and helps her hold their shared enterprise together. Into that tense world returns Jahangir's son Ammar (Usama Khan), an ambitious young man determined to build his own start-up rather than inherit the family business. Their paths cross amid clashing beliefs, workplace pressures and a household already nudging Ammar toward his artist cousin Natasha (Mehar Bano). When Jia encounters prejudice directed at her own faith and discovers that her father carried secrets she never understood, certainty begins to crack. Written by Asma Wazir Gul, the serial turns one wounded woman's search for truth into a thoughtful story of identity, belonging and spiritual renewal, with romance and family expectation quietly complicating every choice.

Editor’s Take

Howra Batool gives this delicate premise its pulse: composed, searching and magnetic without turning Jia's spiritual conflict into a speech. Usama Khan matches her with welcome restraint, and Fahim Burney keeps the big ideas accessible. Our one gripe? Natasha is introduced as an independent artist, then too often reduced to chasing Ammar, a contradiction that flattens a promising character. Still, the sincerity wins. We came for an unusual premise and stayed for Batool's quietly commanding performance.
