About Ghar Kay Na Ghat Kay
Ghar Kay Na Ghat Kay turns a family property dispute into an Eid comedy of suspicion, matchmaking and domestic one-upmanship. At its center is a flamboyant father of two married daughters whose sons-in-law have their eyes fixed firmly on his property. Their calculations begin to wobble when he starts searching for a new bride, bringing another set of expectations into an already crowded household. Led by Shehroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal, with Javed Sheikh, Uroosa Siddiqui, Ahmed Hassan and Zhalay Sarhadi rounding out the ensemble, the telefilm builds its comedy around greed colliding with a father who refuses to let his family dictate his future. Faisal Shirazi's script gives the setup a neat farcical engine: the harder the sons-in-law try to protect their imagined inheritance, the more complicated the household becomes. Directed by Iftikhar Iffi, this is a breezy family caper about remarriage, meddling relatives and the chaos that erupts when property becomes everyone's favorite subject.

The sharpest thing here is the premise: a remarriage-minded patriarch, two property-hungry sons-in-law, and a family home primed for comic sabotage. We like how neatly Faisal Shirazi sets the trap. Our gripe is harder to ignore: the performances often push past playful into noisy overacting, exactly where a lighter touch could have made the farce sparkle. A promising Eid comedy, but the volume knob gets the better of the joke.
