About Janay Kyun

A love marriage is supposed to be the safe bet, the union that starts with wanting rather than arranging. Janay Kyun takes that comfortable assumption and quietly pulls it apart. When a bond built on love is forced into shape by circumstance and bent by the people standing closest to it, what looked like a romance turns corrosive instead. Sumbul Iqbal and Junaid Khan anchor a household where one person's unhappiness refuses to stay private: it seeps into every room, breaks trust that took years to build, and shatters the calm of a home that used to be simple and content. Around them, Nadeem Baig, Zaheen Tahira, Salma Hassan, Rabia Noreen and Moomal Khalid fill out a family drama driven less by villains than by pressure. Written by Shagufta Bhatti and directed by Asim Ali, this ARY Digital serial makes its case in a tight fifteen episodes.
