About Kamzarf

When their parents die, three siblings are left in the hands of the eldest, and Aima (Nadia Khan) turns that duty into an identity. She gave up her own life to raise Azar (Junaid Khan), Fouzia (Rabab Hashim) and Mona (Sumaiyya Bakhsh), and she never lets them forget it. Every decision in the house runs through her, and when love, marriage or ambition threatens to pull the family apart she manipulates and misleads rather than loosen her grip. Editor’s Take

Nadia Khan is the whole engine here. Aima is written with no room for compassion, and Khan plays that airlessness without once begging you to like her, which is far harder than it looks. Our one gripe? The siblings orbit her rather than live, so the middle stretch keeps replaying the same impose-and-resist argument with new furniture. Stay for the performance, forgive the circling. A villain you cannot look away from.
