About Khasara
Khasara turns a modest marriage into a pressure cooker of envy, temptation, and social ambition. Sila (Sonia Mishal) and Moonis (Junaid Khan) live contentedly with their two sons in Ranipur, where Moonis's railway job supports a simple life. Their balance shifts when they reconnect with his affluent childhood friend Mohtasim (Mikaal Zulfiqar) and Mohtasim's glamorous, sharp-edged wife Linta (Sarwat Gilani). Dazzled by their Karachi lifestyle, Sila begins to measure affection against money, while opportunistic Mohtasim notices how badly she wants more. Maha Malik's story asks a pointed question: what gets lost when aspiration hardens into dissatisfaction? The drama builds its tension through the contrast between two marriages, one cash-poor but warm, the other wealthy yet riddled with distrust. Every visit and comparison tightens the knot. It is a glossy, emotionally charged cautionary tale about class envy and the dangerous appeal of a shortcut, anchored by four characters whose desires collide long before they understand the cost.
