Khasara turns a modest marriage into a pressure cooker of envy, temptation, and social ambition. Sila (Sonia Mishal) and Moonis (Junaid Khan) live contentedly with their two sons in Ranipur, where Moonis's railway job supports a simple life. Their balance shifts when they reconnect with his affluent childhood friend Mohtasim (Mikaal Zulfiqar) and Mohtasim's glamorous, sharp-edged wife Linta (Sarwat Gilani). Dazzled by their Karachi lifestyle, Sila begins to measure affection against money, while opportunistic Mohtasim notices how badly she wants more.
