Khuda Aur Mohabbat (Season 2) follows Hammad (Imran Abbas), a privileged young commerce graduate whose life is jolted by a chance encounter with Imaan (Sadia Khan), the devout daughter of mosque imam Molvi Aleemuddin. Captivated by her grace, Hammad abandons the comfort and expectations of his elite family, taking punishing work as a porter while searching for faith and a place in Imaan's tightly guarded world. Their love is hemmed in by class pride, family injury, Imaan's engagement to her cousin Abdullah, and a father who will not bend. This fuller retelling of Hashim Nadeem's novel also carries Hammad's spiritual journey beyond Pakistan, where Sarah (Kubra Khan), a fellow student in America, is drawn to the conviction beneath his brokenness. With Imran Abbas anchoring the romance and Sadia Khan bringing quiet dignity to Imaan, the serial turns yearning into a test of sacrifice, belief, and whether worldly love can lead someone toward something greater.

Editor’s Take

Imran Abbas gives Hammad's longing a bruised, devotional intensity, while Sadia Khan's restrained Imaan makes every silence feel consequential. We also loved Afzal Khan's warmth and Kubra Khan's poised work as Sarah. Our gripe is the sharp drop after episode 16: the American stretch feels thinner and less convincing than the beautifully built Pakistan chapters. Even so, the music, performances, and spiritual ache leave a lasting pull. The first half truly soars.
