Khumar follows Faiz (Feroze Khan), the privileged son of a wealthy family, whose friendship with Rufi brings him into the orbit of Rufi's sister Hareem (Neelam Muneer), a wedding planner carrying the weight of her modest household. Faiz falls hard, but affection is only the beginning of their battle. His formidable mother, Kehkashan (Hina Bayat), sees class as a boundary that should never be crossed, while Hareem's family responsibilities and Nasir's interest in her tighten the emotional knot.
