About Malkin

Written by Sarwat Nazir, Malkin turns one wealthy household into a battleground for belonging, control and inheritance. Gulnaz (Maria Wasti) marries Yawar (Alyy Khan), an entitled heir who has never had to build a life of his own. When he brings her home, his mother Nafeesa Begum (Samina Ahmed) refuses to accept the match and transfers the family property to her younger son and daughter-in-law. Gulnaz stays, but her desire to become the true mistress of the mansion hardens into a campaign against everyone standing between her and power.

Maria Wasti leads the family drama as a woman whose ambition can unsettle every relationship around her, while Alyy Khan and Samina Ahmed anchor the fault line between marriage and maternal authority.
