About Pachtawa

Marriage, Pachtawa insists, is a commitment that runs on devotion and sacrifice, and one hasty decision about it can shadow an entire life. ARY Digital's family drama follows a young woman pushed by her relatives into an early marriage with a distant cousin, a match she never wanted and resents from the very first day. That resentment does not stay behind closed doors. It corrodes a marriage that was never given a fair beginning, damages her standing with a family quick to talk, and leaves her marked by a stigma that follows her everywhere. Written by Seema Ghazal and directed by Shaqielle Khan for Aijaz Aslam's AA Entertainment, it is a close-quartered story about the price of a decision somebody else made for you. Faisal Qureshi, Mahnoor Baloch, Aijaz Aslam and Anum Fayyaz lead, with Qazi Wajid, Qaiser Naqvi, Humaira Zahid and Shehryar Zaidi around them.
