About Pyar Ke Sadqay

Mahjabeen (Yumna Zaidi) is a spirited, guileless young woman whose daydreams offer an escape from schoolbooks and the people who underestimate her. Abdullah (Bilal Abbas Khan) is a gifted mathematics student, shy, soft-spoken and trained by an overbearing household to doubt himself. When disappointments throw these two social misfits into each other's orbit, their tender connection becomes the one honest thing in a world shaped by class anxiety, family pressure and bruised pride.

Written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, Pyar Ke Sadqay finds comedy in Mahjabeen and Abdullah's shared awkwardness without treating their innocence as a joke. Around them, Abdullah's calculating stepfather Sarwar (Omair Rana), his conflicted mother Mansura (Atiqa Odho), and polished classmate Shanzey (Yashma Gill) turn a sweet romance into a test of trust and self-worth. Farooq Rind's drama is at its most irresistible when its leads stumble toward courage, making every shy glance and comic misunderstanding feel deeply human.

Yumna Zaidi and Bilal Abbas Khan make awkwardness sparkle: her guileless comic timing meets his hunched, hesitant sweetness, and even their silences feel alive. We also love how Farooq Rind lets the supporting cast sharpen that contrast, especially Omair Rana and Atiqa Odho. Our one gripe? The story's fresh comic promise sometimes gives way to heavier, more familiar manipulation. Still, this oddball romance has a pulse all its own, tender, funny and wonderfully strange.
