Riffat Aapa (Bushra Ansari) runs her household the way a general runs a garrison. Every decision, every argument, every household matter goes through her first, and she is completely certain she knows best. She is loving. She is also impossible. Under her roof the pressure lands hardest on the bahuein: Faiza (Saman Abid), a mother-in-law with a dominating streak of her own, and Minahil (Beenish Khan), the eldest daughter-in-law who is family twice over as Riffat's niece. Self-centred Sana (Fareeha Hassan) piles on her own demands, while three very different sons pull the house in three directions: dutiful Aslam (Faizan Sheikh), flamboyant Arham (Noman Habib) and open-minded Arsam (Ali Ansari).
