Saaya 2 returns to Rashid's haunted household years after Sualeha's death. Though Rashid (Sohail Sameer) is still carrying the loss of his wife, Ghana (Maria Naqvi) has raised his children Shariq, Pinky and Guriya with fierce care inside their busy joint family. Guriya (Momina Iqbal), who shares her late mother's sensitivity to the supernatural, begins sensing that something sinister has entered their home. The danger arrives with the mysterious Feroze (Daniyal Afzal Khan), whose growing hold over the family collides with Pinky's (Mashal Khan) feelings for him. As strange incidents mount, experienced exorcist Talal (Naveed Raza) recognizes the evil that everyone else is struggling to see. Written by Wajiha Saher, this sequel mixes domestic loyalties, forbidden attraction and a battle between protective love and vengeful forces. Its real hook is Sualeha's presence: even in death, a mother may still be the strongest shield her daughters have.

Editor’s Take

Saaya 2 is at its best when the everyday turns uncanny: jingling anklets, bridal red, scraping metal and a ticking clock make its haunted house feel unmistakably Pakistani. We love how the sequel gives Sualeha's protective ghost more dimension while sharpening the visual scares. Our one gripe? The family melodrama sometimes crowds the dread, letting arguments linger where silence would bite harder. Still, this is horror with cultural texture, not borrowed wallpaper, and that makes it worth the shiver.
