About Saiyyan Thanedaar
Filza (Sahar Hashmi) is a spirited young woman with an unusually specific romantic dream: she wants to marry a police officer. Her wish seems to step straight into her life when Ramil (Ali Ansari) appears in uniform, carrying the charm and confidence of the hero she has always imagined. There is one awkward problem. Even Ramil's own family seems unsure about his police career, leaving Filza to wonder whether she has found a man of principle or a very convincing pretender.
Written by Khurram Abbas, Saiyyan Thanedaar turns that uncertainty into a breezy Eid romance filled with flirtation, family interference, and a playful touch of mystery. Samina Ahmad, Saba Faisal, and Sajid Shah round out the household comedy, giving the leads plenty of personalities to bounce against. The result is a warm, accessible story about falling for an ideal, then learning to look closely at the person wearing it.
Editor’s Take
Sahar Hashmi and Ali Ansari make the central bluff sparkle: her wide-eyed fixation on the uniform meets his slippery charm, and the banter has the bright, bustling rhythm an Eid comedy needs. Our one gripe? The fake-cop setup is familiar enough that some turns announce themselves early. Still, Khurram Abbas keeps the mood buoyant, while the family ensemble adds welcome texture. It is cheerful, compact escapism with handcuffs on its heart.
