About Sun Yaara

Sun Yaara brings Roshni (Hira Mani) from Rawalpindi to Karachi for the wedding of her cousin Lalarukh, known as Lali (Zarnish Khan). A sprained ankle throws her into the orbit of Lali's brother Talal (Junaid Khan), a gifted surgeon whose bedside manner is far sharper than his romantic instincts. Their prickly first meeting opens into a warm, bustling family drama where weddings, loyalties and unspoken feelings keep colliding.

Around them, Lali's new marriage, Talal's protective streak and the expectations of two closely connected households create a web of affection and pressure. Danish Nawaz directs Asiya Mirza's adaptation with an eye for lively domestic detail, letting teasing exchanges and quieter disappointments share the same room. The appeal is not only in whether Roshni and Talal soften toward each other, but in watching a full ensemble negotiate love without stepping outside family duty. It is colorful, emotionally inviting and easy to settle into.

Junaid Khan and Hira Mani make every clipped exchange crackle, while Danish Nawaz gives the family banter a lived-in warmth that keeps the crowded household humming. We also understand why the Junaid Khan and Damia Farooq OST became such a calling card. Our one gripe? The wedding-heavy plotting sometimes circles familiar misunderstandings instead of pushing forward. Still, Sun Yaara has the glow of good comfort viewing: charming, musical and carried by chemistry that refuses to sit quietly.
