About Tapish (2026 Geo)

Tapish drops a combustible love triangle into a world where wealth, duty and friendship pull in opposite directions. Shahzer (Muneeb Butt) is a privileged heir whose fierce temper and need for control have kept genuine connection at arm's length. Shifa (Laiba Khan), by contrast, carries her family's responsibilities with quiet resolve while protecting dreams of her own. Her future appears settled with Maaz (Saad Qureshi), her cousin and fiancé, in a relationship built on affection, trust and the approval of those around them.

Everything shifts when Shahzer meets Shifa and feels drawn to her, unaware that she is promised to his closest friend. Once that truth presses against his desire, attraction becomes a test of loyalty, and the three find themselves caught between personal longing and bonds they cannot easily break. Directed by Ahmed Bhatti from Rehana Aftab's script, Tapish turns its central collision into an emotionally charged story about entitlement, sacrifice and the cost of pursuing desire without regard for other people's futures.

Editor’s Take

Muneeb Butt's volatile Shahzer is the ignition switch here. His obsessed-lover turn loads every encounter with Shifa and Maaz with the threat of a friendship cracking, while Laiba Khan's steady Shifa gives the chaos a necessary centre. Our gripe? The wealthy man disrupting young love is a very familiar template, and the writing risks treating Shifa as a prize instead of the story's strongest will. Still, the tension has teeth. We're watching for the reckoning, not the romance.
