About Taqdeer

Romaisa "Romi" (Alizeh Shah) has grown up as the cherished only daughter of Tahir Majeed (Javed Sheikh), protected by a family that treats her wishes as commands. Her warmth is not entitlement, though, and marriage to successful businessman Asad (Sami Khan) carries her into a very different home. Asad loves his wife, but his insecurity and hunger for attention leave him vulnerable to a household that reads Romi's innocence as weakness. Her mother-in-law Fehmida, sister-in-law Zuni, and Maheen turn domestic life into a steady test of loyalty, dignity, and endurance, while Romi keeps trying to win the respect her sacrifices should have earned from the start. Directed by Mohsin Talat, Taqdeer builds its family drama around a painful question: what happens when a daughter raised with tenderness enters a marriage where care is rationed and control is mistaken for concern?
