About Tum Se Hi Taluq Hai
Alina (Tooba Siddiqui) has spent years trying to make a marriage work with Sadan (Syed Jibran), her maternal cousin and the distant father of their two daughters. Sadan has never accepted her as a true partner, and his mother Kulsoom sees the danger clearly. Hoping to secure Alina and the children, Kulsoom places her property in Alina's name, turning a loveless household into a battleground of affection, inheritance and control. At Sadan's office, Rama (Faryal Mehmood) is struggling with her stepfather's illness and her own career when his attention offers a tempting escape. Sadan's attraction soon pulls both women into a volatile triangle, while Alina's ally Nakheel (Ali Abbas) offers a different model of loyalty. Written by Syed Wasi Shah, Tum Se Hi Taluq Hai is a tense family drama about betrayal, financial power and the painful cost of treating marriage as possession. Its intimate stakes make every shift in the household feel dangerously personal.
Editor’s Take
Syed Wasi Shah's sharpest move is turning a marriage, a will and an office romance into one ugly domestic trap, with Sadan's choices tightening the suspense around Alina and Rama. We were still leaning forward when the story slowed, the same push and pull noted in contemporary episode coverage. Our gripe? The plot circles its conflicts longer than it needs to. Still, this is bruising family melodrama that knows exactly where to press.
