In the village of Kesar Kallan, Meenu (Sajal Ali) refuses to let poverty, patriarchy, or her brothers decide the limits of her life. Bright, outspoken, and determined to continue her education, she dreams of becoming the first doctor from her community. Her path crosses with Dr Nofil (Hamza Sohail), a young physician posted to a neglected rural health centre who initially sees little reason to stay. Meenu challenges that resignation, drawing him into the everyday struggles of villagers denied reliable healthcare and opportunity.

Written by Mustafa Afridi, Zard Patton Ka Bunn gives their growing bond room to breathe while keeping its focus on female education, family planning, child labour, and the quiet courage required to confront old customs. Sajal Ali brings fire and warmth to Meenu, while Hamza Sohail makes Nofil's compassion feel earned rather than heroic.
