About Zindagi Gulzar Hai 10 Years

Kashaf Murtaza (Sanam Saeed) is raised by a single mother (Samina Peerzada) in a household where money is scarce and a girl's ambitions are the first thing questioned. Class and gender bias shadow her whole childhood, and she answers them the only way she can, by working harder than anyone else in the room. At university she meets Zaroon Junaid (Fawad Khan), a privileged charmer who has never had to want for anything, and their arguments carry the sting of two worlds that were never meant to meet. Umera Ahmed's story, directed by Sultana Siddiqui for HUM TV, follows that collision from campus into careers and then into a marriage, where the trials, the compromises and the old assumptions both of them carry get tested in the most ordinary and most painful ways. Sheheryar Munawar, Mehreen Raheel, Ayesha Omar and Mansha Pasha complete the ensemble.

Our one gripe? The late marital stretch keeps relitigating the same fight, and one melodramatic accusation lands well below the standard of everything around it.
