U Got This

The Story Behind U Got This

U Got This is Asim Azhar's song of self-doubt and persistence from Asim Ali, released on 24 November 2025. He wrote and composed the track, and shares the production credit with Kumail Abbas. Abbas also mixed the recording, with mastering credited to Roshaan.

Azhar's official release description frames the song as a conversation between doubt and self-forgiveness. That premise runs through a recurring refrain about his journey, which returns between verses concerned with conscience, mistrust and lessons learned. The Urdu writing includes English phrases of reassurance, giving the track's direct address a bilingual form. The official audio lasts three minutes and fifteen seconds and belongs to the album's ten-track sequence.

Meaning & Translation

U Got This is a shortened spelling of "you've got this", an English reassurance that someone can face what lies ahead. Here, the encouragement is directed inward. The speaker admits that he can be wrong without accepting that his whole life is a failure. Images of a road, a troubled conscience and a mother's invitation home make recovery feel like finding one's bearings again. The refrain keeps the journey open: he is still on the road and still learning. Forgiveness involves releasing resentment toward others as well as easing his own self-blame, so the song's hope grows out of honest self-examination.
