Be Inteha OST

The Story Behind Be Inteha OST

Be Inteha is the title song for Urdu 1's 2017 drama about Bisma, whose expected marriage to family friend Ali is unsettled when photographer Sherry falls for her. The broadcaster's official video bills Adnan Dhool alongside Naveen Waqar and Sami Khan, who play the drama's romantic leads. Written by Rida Bilal, the serial follows how that new affection complicates choices already made by three close families.

The song was part of the drama's original run: a September 2017 review singled out the OST as a reason to keep watching, and Urdu 1 published a soundtrack video in its original Be Inteha playlist. The current YouTube upload arrived in November 2019. Its later posting date should not be mistaken for the song's original release year.

Meaning & Translation

Be inteha means "without limit" or "boundless" in Urdu. For this drama's title song, the phrase names the scale of a feeling rather than a date, place or person. Bisma is moving toward an engagement with Ali when Sherry's affection unsettles the future their families expect. In that setting, love without limits can sound exhilarating and troubling at once: the emotion is powerful, while its consequences reach beyond the two people who feel it. The title captures the tension between private longing and obligations to others. Its English sense holds both the hope of a love that feels endless and the difficulty of living with its consequences.
