The Story Behind Bharosa OST
ARY Digital released the Bharosa title song in April 2017, with Adnan Dhool and Shehar Bano billed as its two singers. The broadcaster credits Dhool and Rabi Ahmed for the lyrics. It accompanies Ghazala Naqvi's drama about Shaheer and Raima, whose relationship is strained when family decisions push Shaheer toward a marriage with his cousin Samia. Bilal Qureshi and Faria Sheikh play the central pair, and Ali Akbar directed the serial. The recording runs just over a minute and a half, giving the two voices a compact setting for the drama's question of trust. With its title drawn from the idea of relying on someone, the song ties the couple's bond to the choices that threaten it.
Meaning & Translation
Bharosa means trust or confidence in Urdu, especially the faith placed in another person. For Shaheer and Raima, that idea is tested when family decisions press Shaheer toward marriage with his cousin Samia. The title therefore carries two feelings at once: the hope that a loved one will remain steadfast and the fear that outside pressure will break a promise. Samia's hurt and revenge deepen that uncertainty, so trust becomes a question for the wider family as well as the couple. The English word "trust" conveys the sense, though the title also suggests the act of relying on someone when the outcome is beyond one's control.
