Chal Chaliye marked Sajjad Ali's return to Coke Studio in 2024 after six years, pairing him with Farheen Raza Jaffry for the sixth song of Season 15. Curator and producer Xulfi shaped the track with Sajjad Ali and Shabi Ali as composers, while Sajjad Ali and Xulfi wrote its Punjabi invitation to move past fear.
