The Story Behind For Love
For Love is Raheel Fayyaz's soundtrack song for Green Entertainment's 2026 Eid telefilm Pyaar Ka Punch. Released on the broadcaster's YouTube channel on 18 March, it credits Fayyaz with the vocals, composition and lyrics, bringing the song's words and melody under one creative voice.
The film stars Naeema Butt and Saif Ali Khan as two college students whose rivalry gradually opens into romance. Its boxing backdrop gives the relationship a playful edge, and Green's introduction to the song pairs emotional intensity with that punchy premise. The soundtrack offers a romantic companion to their sparring, with Fayyaz's solo billing distinguishing the singer from the actors featured in the video. A streaming release followed on 16 April under Green Entertainment.
Meaning & Translation
For Love means "for the sake of love", or pyaar ke liye in Urdu. The title presents affection as a reason to act, rather than simply a feeling to describe. Read alongside Pyaar Ka Punch's college romance, it suggests the moment when pride and competition begin to give way to emotional honesty.
Green Entertainment introduces the song through passion and the realities of love, a useful frame for a story where attraction grows out of friction. The interpretation rests on that contrast: two people can challenge each other and still want closeness. The boxing metaphor gives their emotional struggle a playful setting.
