Meaning & Translation
Jogi bun kay aa means come to me as a wandering ascetic. The beloved is addressed as Ranjha, invoking the Punjabi romance in which Ranjha becomes a jogi after separation from Heer. Here, that image turns longing into surrender: love refuses to recognize caste, throne, or crown, and asks the beloved to abandon worldly rank and return transformed.
