The Story Behind Kahain Kis Se OST
Kahain Kis Se OST is the title song of HUM TV's 2023 drama Kahain Kis Se. Raffay Israr performs it, with music composed by Naveed Nashad and lyrics by Qamar Nashad and Warda Lodhi, as credited in HUM TV's official upload. The serial follows Urwa, played by Washma Fatima, whose trust in love and family is tested by deception, while Subhan Awan provides a tender counterweight to her ordeal. Nadia Ahmed wrote the drama, Kamran Akbar Khan directed it, and the broadcaster identifies it as a Momina Duraid Production presentation. The restrained arrangement keeps Israr's solo vocal and the title's unanswered question at the center, giving the drama's betrayals an intimate, inward tone rather than turning them into spectacle.
Meaning & Translation
Kahain Kis Se roughly asks, "Whom can I tell?" It is a question shaped by pain that has no safe listener. The song frames heartbreak as isolation: love and family should offer shelter, yet betrayal makes the speaker doubt both trust and speech. Rather than describing one incident, the title gathers grief, confusion and the fear of being misunderstood into a recurring dilemma. In the context of Urwa's story, it mirrors a woman surrounded by relationships but forced to carry her hurt inwardly. Its emotional movement is therefore less about accusation than the search for someone who will listen without turning vulnerability against her.
