The Story Behind Maghron La (MEMBA Remix)
Maghron La (MEMBA Remix) is Coke Studio Pakistan's second 2024 version of the Sabri Sisters and Rozeo's Season 15 song. Coke Studio uploaded the remix on 13 June, six weeks after the original, and credits MEMBA with producing, mixing and mastering this recording. The vocal billing stays with the Sabri Sisters and Rozeo, while the composition and lyrics credit Adnan Dhool, Rozeo and Xulfi. This is a shorter, dance-oriented retelling: the YouTube cut lasts 3:48 against the original video's 4:22, and the single is catalogued as dance music. MEMBA's new production gives the wedding song a separate identity without presenting it as a new composition. The official upload also credits Studio Moebius for the artwork and motion, marking the remix as a distinct visual release.
Meaning & Translation
In Punjabi, Maghron La suggests leaving something behind. Here the phrase is less about walking away from a person than putting hurt, fear and bitterness out of the way so a celebration can begin. The Sabri Sisters' shared refrain works as a public invitation, while Rozeo's response adds a personal voice of confidence and acceptance. MEMBA's remix keeps those words and voices at the centre, but presents the message in a shorter dance setting. The emotional point survives the change in production: joy is a choice made together, and moving forward does not require pretending that the past never happened.
