Marg-e-Wafa OST

The Story Behind Marg-e-Wafa OST

Anamta Sabri sings the OST for HUM TV's 2026 drama Marg e Wafa, whose story follows Hiba as her love for Hassan is complicated by Azar's arrival. Hassan Rai and Qasim Dahir wrote its lyrics and composition; their Soundsky Media release also credits them with music production. HUM TV published the soundtrack video on June 30, 2026, after the serial's June premiere.

The broadcaster bills Sabri alone on vocals, giving the drama's conflict a single musical voice rather than a duet. Its own description frames the song around love, sacrifice and heartbreak, themes that echo the triangle at the heart of Amna Riaz's story. Director Ilyas Kashmiri is credited on the drama, while the soundtrack keeps the focus on the singer and the two writers behind the melody.

Meaning & Translation

Marg-e-Wafa translates as "the death of loyalty" or "the end of faithfulness." Marg means death, while wafa is fidelity to someone or to a promise. The title is figurative: it suggests a bond in which trust has been damaged so badly that devotion itself feels lost. HUM TV presents the soundtrack through love, sacrifice and heartbreak, so the words also carry a question about what remains after someone has given deeply and still been hurt. The feeling is bigger than a simple breakup. It is grief for the promise that made a relationship feel secure, and fear that loyalty may not survive the pain.
