Iqbal Bano's script puts an ambitious radio jockey inside a powerful household that wealth cannot make safe, and the song works as its overture, setting the serial's sorrow before a single scene has played. The drama went on to collect nominations at the 2021 Lux Style Awards and the Pakistan International Screen Awards.
