Farheen "Fari" Akhtar (Hareem Farooq) has one dream: to trade the limits of her everyday life for a place on Pakistan's women's cricket team. Cricket fills her bedroom walls, her daydreams and every spare moment, even when college, family expectations and the practical pressures of home demand her attention. Her elder sister Amber (Kinza Razzak) is navigating marriage proposals, while their mother keeps the household going through a catering business and their father offers quiet encouragement. Fari's new friendship with Naz (Alina Abbas Shah) brings mischief and loyalty to the journey.

Running alongside her story is Junaid (Wahaj Ali), a gifted cricketer confronting health struggles of his own. When their paths cross, ambition, training and emotional friction pull both players into the same contest. Written by Zeeshan Ilyas, 22 Qadam is a spirited women's sports drama about refusing to let social expectations decide who gets to step onto the pitch.
