Ae Dil follows two young couples whose romances collide with class, pride, and family loyalty. Maleeha (Komal Meer) is determined to hold on to Mohid (Saad Qureshi), even as opposition tests what each of them is willing to sacrifice. In a parallel love story, gentle, self-possessed Rohaam (Azaan Sami Khan) and Sana (Hina Chaudhary) discover that affection is no shield against expectations set by powerful families. Written by Misbah Nosheen, the serial turns one wrong choice into a chain of secrets, wounded trust, and difficult reckonings. Komal Meer gives Maleeha a lovely mix of steel and vulnerability, and her chemistry with Saad Qureshi makes every family objection feel personal. We also love how Ahmed Bhatti lets polished interiors and glowing celebrations carry emotional tension. Our one gripe? Misbah Nosheen's heightened dialogue occasionally pushes heartfelt scenes into grand-declaration territory. Still, the ensemble gives this familiar clash between love and family enough pulse to keep us invested. Glossy melodrama, yes, but with bruises beneath the shine.
