About Aik Aur Pakeezah

Aik Aur Pakeezah follows Pakeezah (Sehar Khan), a young lawyer whose ordinary future is shattered when a private encounter with engineer Faraz (Nameer Khan) is weaponised online. A criminal records them without consent, sends the footage racing across social media, and leaves both to face the wreckage. Yet the burden is brutally unequal: Faraz can still move through the world, while Pakeezah's reputation, family bonds, and professional identity come under relentless scrutiny.

Written by Bee Gul and directed by Kashif Nisar, the drama turns cybercrime into an intimate human crisis rather than a distant warning. As Pakeezah searches for justice, she must decide whom to trust and how much of herself she can preserve in a society eager to judge the victim. Amna Ilyas, Gohar Rasheed, Nadia Afgan, Noor-ul-Hassan, and a strong ensemble widen the story into a tense study of privacy, courage, and the cost of refusing to stay silent.

Bee Gul's writing gives this cybercrime story its sting, but Nadia Afgan's controlled, quietly commanding performance is the spark we kept waiting for. Kashif Nisar's restrained symbolism also lands without turning Pakeezah's pain into spectacle. Our gripe? The middle circles the same warnings while the courtroom drama arrives frustratingly late, draining momentum from a story built on urgency. Still, this is socially conscious television with a pulse, and it stays under the skin.
