Amanat follows two sisters, Tehzeeb and Seher, whose contrasting temperaments are shaped by very different lessons at home. Tehzeeb (Rubab Hashim) has learned patience from her mother, while Seher grows up under a more impulsive influence. As marriage and family expectations tighten around them, those inherited attitudes send the sisters down sharply different paths: Tehzeeb appears to find stability, while Seher faces the pain and social upheaval of divorce.
