Baby Baji centers on Rashida Begum, affectionately known as Baby Baji (Samina Ahmed), the steady heart of a bustling joint-family household. When her husband Siddiqui Sahab (Munawer Saeed) falls ill, she takes on the exhausting task of keeping their four sons and growing families under one roof. The home is already a pressure cooker: eldest son Jamal (Saud Qasmi) tries to shoulder responsibility, while his sharp-tongued wife Azra (Javeria Saud) repeatedly clashes with the gentler Asma (Sunita Marshal) and outspoken newcomer Farhat (Tuba Anwar). Each quarrel over money, marriage, loyalty, and domestic authority tests Baby Baji's belief that family should stand together. Written by Mansoor Ahmed Khan, this ensemble drama turns everyday tensions into an absorbing portrait of love strained by pride and resentment. Samina Ahmed gives Baby Baji a quiet gravity, but Javeria Saud's combustible Azra is the spark that keeps this crowded household crackling. We love how the fast-moving ensemble turns ordinary family rituals into emotional battlegrounds without losing the texture of a lived-in home. Our one gripe? Some characters are drawn as moral types rather than people, and the late sentimentality can feel heavy-handed. Even so, this is addictive family drama with a remarkably sharp sense of domestic pressure.
