About Badshah Begum

Badshah Begum enters the fictional town of Peeranpur, where faith, feudal power and family loyalty are bound to the same throne. Peer Shah Alam (Shahzad Nawaz) abandoned his hereditary seat for city life, leaving his son Shahzaib (Farhan Saeed) to guard the shrine and his sister Hakim Bee (Saman Ansari) to protect the title of Badshah Begum. When estranged cousin Qaisar (Yasir Hussain) threatens the family's claim, Shahzaib summons the city-raised branch home and sets his sights on installing his stepsister Jahan Ara (Zara Noor Abbas) as the next matriarch. Jahan Ara's return also pulls her siblings Roshan Ara (Komal Meer) and Shahmeer (Hamza Sohail), along with her old connection Bakhtiar (Ali Rehman Khan), into a world of rival heirs, buried resentments and unforgiving custom. Written by Saji Gul, this political family saga turns a succession battle into a tense clash between modern identities and inherited authority.

Our gripe is the execution: uneven direction and shaky plot logic too often blunt a premise built for operatic suspense.
