About Badzaat

Badzaat plunges into a sprawling joint family where old wounds, pride and class prejudice turn every relationship into a contest. Wali (Imran Ashraf) is feared for his temper and rigid sense of honour, yet beneath the swagger sits a man marked by the shame his relatives attach to his mother's past. His cousin Daniyal (Ali Abbas) resents him deeply and treats every encounter as a chance to humiliate him. Into this combustible household comes Anabiya (Urwa Hocane), a sheltered, disciplined young woman attending a family wedding with her mother. A single incident binds their fates, and Daniyal's aggression pushes Anabiya into an increasingly precarious position. As Wali begins to care for her, he must decide whether his fierce moral code can become genuine courage rather than another form of control. Written by Misbah Nosheen, Badzaat mixes romance, rivalry and inherited resentment into a glossy family melodrama powered by volatile confrontations and the uneasy pull between Wali and Anabiya.

Editor’s Take

Imran Ashraf gives Wali a live-wire intensity, while his bruising chemistry with Urwa Hocane keeps even the loudest confrontations watchable. We also appreciate how Siraj ul Haq turns the joint-family home into a pressure cooker of grudges. Our gripe? Misbah Nosheen's script leans too heavily on Anabiya's naivety and repeatedly pushes its melodrama into troubling territory. The performances keep pulling us back, but this is a guilty pleasure with sharp edges, not a romance to take at face value.
