About Bakhtawar

Bakhtawar follows a headstrong young woman (Yumna Zaidi) who refuses to let poverty, a troubled home, and a suffocating social order decide her future. After leaving her village with her mother Shareefa (Huma Nawab), she discovers that the city offers work and independence only on terms designed to keep vulnerable women afraid.
