Case No. 9 follows Sehar Moazzam (Saba Qamar), a confident, ambitious professional who refuses to shrink herself for her domineering employer, Kamran Haider (Faysal Quraishi). When his wounded ego turns into an act of sexual violence, Sehar must confront not only a wealthy, influential man, but also the machinery of doubt, shame and intimidation that protects him. Her pursuit of justice pulls family, colleagues and the media into a bruising legal battle, while eyewitness Rohit (Junaid Khan) wrestles with the cost of telling the truth. Barrister Beenish Ali (Aamina Sheikh) brings clear-eyed resolve to Sehar's case, giving her an ally who understands that dignity is not something a survivor should have to prove. Written by Shahzeb Khanzada, this courtroom drama uses one woman's resistance to examine power, consent and the price of speaking up. It is serious, urgent television, anchored by characters whose choices feel painfully human.

Saba Qamar gives Sehar a rare combination of bruised vulnerability and unshakable self-possession, while Aamina Sheikh's cool, precise Beenish proves that courtroom authority needn't shout. Our one gripe? The defence's louder flourishes occasionally feel too broad beside that steely restraint. Still, the women here are never reduced to symbols or suffering. Case No. 9 turns a difficult subject into gripping, purposeful television, and we could not look away.
