About Chand Tara

Chand Tara follows Sarim Gulzar (Danish Taimoor), a software engineer, and Naintara "Tara" Jaffer (Ayeza Khan), a trainee doctor, who are determined to marry despite her mother Dr. Raazia's (Saba Faisal) doubts about him living in a large joint family. Once the wedding happens, the story flips its own premise: Sarim quietly wants out of the household he fought so hard to stay in, while Tara, the new bride, grows attached to the noisy, crowded home her mother warned her against. Around them swirls a colorful mix of in-laws, siblings, and eccentric relatives, each stirring up their own comic trouble for the newlyweds. Real-life husband and wife Taimoor and Khan bring an easy, lived-in warmth to Sarim and Tara's chemistry, anchoring a story that is less about grand obstacles and more about the everyday negotiations, misunderstandings, and small victories of building a marriage inside a joint family.
