About Shiddat

Asra (Anmol Baloch) grows up cherished and secure, certain that love should feel gentle. Sultan (Muneeb Butt) grows up fighting for everything he has, certain that love should feel earned. When the two marry, that gap in how they were raised becomes the fault line of their entire relationship. Muneeb Butt is chillingly good as Sultan, turning quiet narcissism into something you can feel in your chest, while Anmol Baloch matches him beat for beat as Asra unravels and rebuilds. Shiddat earns real credit for naming emotional abuse as abuse, not just the physical kind primetime dramas usually reach for. Our one gripe? That ending. Sending Asra back into Sultan's arms undercuts every ounce of growth we just watched her earn. Great performances, braver message needed.
